GE Range Haliant Surface Element WS01F07200 (Replaces 223C7378P001)

GE Range Haliant Surface Element WS01F07200 (Replaces 223C7378P001)

WS01F07200 Range Haliant Surface Element, 6" (replaces 223C7378P001)

The WS01F07200 is a genuine OEM 6-inch Haliant radiant surface element used in GE-family smooth-top (glass-ceramic) electric ranges. “Haliant” elements are a GE radiant element style designed for fast heat-up and stable cycling when controlled by an infinite switch. The element is a coiled resistance heater mounted in an insulated metal carrier; when energized on 240V it heats the glass cooktop above it and transfers heat to cookware. This 6" size is commonly used for small/single burners and is typically ~1500W class (confirm by model/burner position). Common failures include an open heating coil, hot spots from coil fatigue, warped carrier causing poor contact to the cooktop, or heat-damaged terminals from loose connections. Symptoms: burner won’t heat, heats intermittently, heats unevenly, or trips the breaker. IMPORTANT: Match by part number and burner position/size. CRITICAL: Turn off the double-pole breaker (240V) before servicing.
