The WG02F04465 is a genuine OEM upper broil heating element rated 3410W @ 240V for GE-family electric ranges/ovens. It mounts at the top of the oven cavity and provides high-intensity radiant heat for broiling and for assisting preheat/heat recovery on some models. It replaces WB44T10009 and WB44T10034. Failures are typically an internal open circuit (no continuity), a blister/burn-through spot on the sheath, heat-fatigued terminals, or a short-to-ground that trips the breaker. Symptoms: no broil heat, weak broil, uneven browning, visible sparking, burning smell, or breaker trips when broil is selected. IMPORTANT: Match by model and element shape/terminal orientation. CRITICAL: Turn off the double-pole breaker (240V) before servicing.
