Samsung Upper Convection Motor Assembly DG96-00110F (Replaces DG31-00007E)

Samsung Upper Convection Motor Assembly DG96-00110F (Replaces DG31-00007E)

DG96-00110F Samsung Upper Convection Motor Assembly – Even Heating and Faster Heat Transfer for Convection Cooking

The DG96-00110F is a genuine OEM upper convection fan motor assembly used in select Samsung (and Samsung-built Dacor) ranges/ovens. This assembly drives the upper convection fan blade to circulate hot air through the oven cavity for even heating, faster heat transfer, and improved temperature uniformity in convection bake/roast modes. The assembly typically includes the motor and mounting bracket/hardware interface (exact contents vary by supplier listing). Failures are commonly worn motor bearings (growling/whining), seized motor, intermittent speed, vibration, or electrical failure (open windings/driver issues depending on motor type). Symptoms: convection fan not running, loud roaring/whining in convection, fan speed errors (model dependent), uneven baking in convection, or scraping/rubbing if the motor shaft develops play and the blade contacts the cover. IMPORTANT: If the fan blade was rubbing, replace the blade only if the motor shaft has no play—otherwise replace the motor assembly. CRITICAL: Turn off the breaker (240V) before servicing.
